AGRA Partnerships

AGRA is building a robust network of partnerships to help catalyze an African Green Revolution. We work with our partners to fund and implement programs, disseminate technologies, share knowledge and information and incorporate a rich diversity of approaches into our work.

Our most recent partnerships are the following:

  • With the Association of European Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA) to support African parliamentarians as they promote policies to help smallholder farmers transition from subsistence to market-oriented agriculture. View press release.
  • With the Government of Mozambique and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in support of PROMER, the Rural Markets Promotions Program, to help smallholder farmers surmount a huge obstacle: access to markets. View press release.
  • With Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) and other community partners to launch a critical effort to counteract soil acidity which cuts maize yields by at least 30 percent. In Kenya’s western and central provinces. View press release.
  • With Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to launch a major initiative aimed at doubling Africa’s rice production by 2018. View press release.
  • With the African Agricultural Capital (AAC) group to launch the African Seed Investment Fund (ASIF). View press release.
